The SED District Leadership Conference is a one day conference which typically offers specific workshops programmed for and by chapter and district leadership.
However, this year, the 2013-2014 TBS SED Council has chosen to enlarge those basics to include information for membership candidates, recent initiates, chapter officers, and everyone else! For Tau Beta Sigma, the day will be broken into 4 facets- Music, Leadership, Service, and Sisterhood. During each of the 4 blocks, attendees will be able to learn and experience the bond in new and different ways than ever before!
At DLC this year, Kappa Kappa Psi will be breaking down the functions of our chapters to establish effective and accomplished practices. During each hour, brothers will have the chance to learn and grow through developing relations with brothers in other chapters. The Kappa Kappa Psi SED Council has also been recruiting brothers to give workshops at both DLC and SED!! Attendees will have the chance to discuss chapter operations with district officers and brothers of other chapters around the SED!
Attendance typically runs smaller at DLC than at SED Convention, allowing the workshops and activities a more personal touch. The 2014 SED DLC will have a lot to offer everyone- from a membership candidate to a chapter president. I hope you will join us on February 8, 2014 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill!
